Russian Emergency Situations Ministry airplanes carrying Russian citizens willing to leave Syria are expected to land at Domodedovo Airport outside Moscow on Tuesday evening, a ministry spokesman told Interfax.

"The [Ilyushin] Il-76 and Il-62 aircraft are expected to land in Domodedovo at around 10:00 p.m. Moscow time. They will fly Russians who want to leave Syria back home," the spokesman said.

The ministry has also set up a hotline for relatives of Russian citizens living in Syria and Syrians who live in Russia.

"The hotline telephone number is 8-800-575-17-17. People seeking updates on the situation in this Arab republic can call it," he said.
