Moscow is planning to send two aircraft to Beirut on Tuesday to evacuate more than 100 Russians from Syria, the Emergency Situations Ministry said on Monday.

"On orders from the leadership of the Russian Federation, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations is sending two aircraft to Beirut, Lebanon, to enable all the Russians who wish to leave Syria to do so," ministry spokeswoman Irina Rossius told Interfax.
