A total of 120,000 people have voted for the dissolution of the State Duma, Dmitry Muratov, editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta, said on Monday.

"By this minute, 120,000 signatures for your dissolution were collected on our site," Muratov said at the meeting of the State Duma committee on constitutional legislation and state development on Monday.

The meeting addressed the issue of providing to the State Duma the 100,000 signatures against the adoption of the law banning the adoption of Russian children by U.S. citizens.

All signatures collected on the Novaya Gazeta site have been verified, Muratov said.
