Central Elections Commission receives 55 complaints about election abuses
The Central Elections Commission (CEC) has received 55 reports of breaches of election laws during the Sunday single voting day.

"By now CEC has received 55 messages containing information about breaches of election legislation from 17 constituent territories of the Russian Federation," CEC deputy chairman Leonid Ivlev told the press on Sunday.
He said that the greatest number of complaints came from Bashkortostan - 17. There were eight from Sakhalin region, he added.
Ivlev noted that there was a complaint from Khimki about the failure of automatic ballot boxes at three polling stations. He said that the technical flaw was promptly removed.
