Kevin Spacey acts in a short movie by unknown Russian film-maker
Enjoy the short movie masterpiece "Envelope" starring Kevin Spacey, written and directed by Russian newcomer Aleksey Nuzhny, a winner for Russia at Jameson First Shot competition.
Among the winners of the contest are Alexey Nuzhny (Russia) with the film “Envelope” as well as Alan Shelley (South Africa) with the film “Spirit Of A Denture” and Benjamin Leavitt (USA) with “The Ventriloquist”. Alexey Nuzhny graduated from 1st School of Television in Moscow and New York Film Academy film school Russia. His script, Envelope, tells the story about a stamp collector Evgeny whose hobby gets him into an unexpected situation.
Evgeniy's hobby is to send fake letters to real countries. He has collected a letter from every country except New Zealand, and he sends a letter there. Things turn worst when he actually receives a letter from someone there.
In fact, the script is based on a real story of Russian writer Evgeny Petrov, who wrote such novels as “The Twelve Chairs” and “The Little Golden Calf” in collaboration with Ilya Ilf.
