Yabloko party sees March of Millions' leftward tinge as alarming
The March of Millions held in Moscow on September 15 revealed an alarmingly strong leftward nationalistic bias in the opposition, said Yabloko party leader Sergei Mitrokhin.
"Unfortunately, our forecast that the red-brown trend may prevail has come true. Anticipating this, Yabloko decided not to participate," Mitrokhin told Interfax.
The left-wing radical and nationalistic parties again hogged all the blankets and stopped convening the organizing committee where all opposition parties were on equal terms previously, he said.
"As we all could see the march had red and brown colors, which is absolutely unacceptable for Yabloko," Mitrokhin said.
These mass actions will work only if the right balance is restored in the organizing committee, the Yabloko leader said.
