Russian Paralympics delegation hopes attackers of bus with volleyball team in London to be found
Russian Paralympics Committee president, ombudsman Vladimir Lukin hopes that the person who fired a gunshot at a bus carrying the Russian national Paralympics volleyball team will be found.
"The incident, to say the least, is unpleasant. We are establishing contacts with the security services at the games, and we will raise serious questions: how to find the culprits and how to prevent such an incident in the future," Lukin told Interfax.
"We do not propose an investigation scenario, but we hope for the efficiency of the security services," he said.
It was reported earlier that a gunshot was fired at a bus carrying the Russian national Paralympics volleyball team before a game with Morocco on Tuesday. No one was hurt in the incident.
